A set of extra-fine, European style transparent watercolors, known for their purity, permanence and brilliance. Holbein watercolor contains no oxgall, animal by products or other dispersing agents, allowing it to move slowly for greater color density and brush control. It has a creamy texture that remains smooth when dry preventing it from cracking, crumbling, chipping or molding in the palette.
The 12-color set includes burnt sienna, burnt umber, Chinese white, crimson lake, cobalt blue hue, ivory black, permanent green #1, permanent yellow light, Prussian blue, vermilion hue, viridian hue and yellow ochre in 5ml tubes.
The 18-color set includes crimson lake, rose madder, vermilion hue, jaune brilliant, permanent yellow lemon, permanent yellow deep, yellow ochre, permanent green #1, permanent green #2, viridian hue, compose blue, cobalt blue, Prussian blue, mineral violet, burnt sienna, burnt umber, ivory black and Chinese white in 5ml tubes.
